This production used a 3d world to ground and explore shot compositions. This ensured easy iteration, proper scaling of the characters, as well as reference for the 3D assets of the movie.
Studying subtle animation and 2D/3D integration
This production was also a study of subtle animation.
We used an animation style with varying framerates, both for time efficiency's sake, but also to put emphasis on certain emotional moments in the story.
Additionally 2D fx animation and paintovers were used to marry the mediums of 2D and 3D together.

A series pitch made for DR ULTRA Serieskolen,
A story of a dreamy, dyslexic boy who goes on adventures inside of his favourite audio book series.
The series would incorporate audio books, AR games and a roleplaying universe to engage a young target audience. These would serve as springboards to kickstart their creativity!
